Anna Cessar scored the game's only goal as the Slippery Rock girls under-12 Division C soccer team beat Seneca Valley, 1-0, last weekend.

Ali Lotz and Sarah Hoffman assisted on the goal. Lotz and Cassie Cooper were the goalkeepers.

In other action:

• Butler's middle school girls dropped a 2-0 decision to North Allegheny. Goalkeeper Taylor Troyan stopped 32 of 34 shots.

• Michael Stutz had three goals as the Slippery Rock eighth-grade team beat Karns City, 3-1. Ali Lotz, Brock Sloan and Braden Sloan had assists, and goaltender Jordan Marks made seven saves.
