Dom DiTommaso scored on a 6-yard run with less than two minutes remaining, giving the Seneca Valley Chiefs a 7-0 football victory over Peters Township recently.

Jared Myers passed to Stephen Rudolph for the conversion.

On defense, Tony Palumbo, John Brassel, Glen Blaney, Drew Lewis, Trevor Katich, Nick Marofsky and John Davis helped the Chiefs register their fourth shutout of the season.

In other action:

North Allegheny defeated the 10- and 11-year-old Seminoles of the Seneca Valley Junior Football Association of Cranberry, 20-12, in the first round of the Great 19 Youth Football League playoffs.

Zach Lyman threw a 30-yard touchdown pass to Thomas Stanley and running back Sammy Henson tossed a 20-yard scoring pass to Shanley for the Seminoles' points.

Stephen Gaviglia had seven tackles, and Matt Buccino and Austin McClure recovered fumbles in a losing cause.
