The Northern Steel Select Soccer Club sent two teams to Erie recently for some preseason spring games.

The under-16 boys defeated the under-16 Erie Admirals 3-1 as Slippery Rock's Ryan Hyatt and Daniel Jeon, along with Butler's C.J. Burger, scored goals.

Jeon scored the lone goal in a 5-1 loss to the under-17 Erie Admirals.

Knoch's Alex Slomers scored the lone goal as the under-14 boys defeated Erie, 1-0.
