The Little Rocks Wrestling Club, Slippery Rock's youth program for the sport, recently handed out its awards for the season.

Winning the Houdini Award for most escapes were Michael Goodman (grades one through 4) and Justin Ruetschi (grades 5 and 6).

The Most Improved Wrestler awards went to Michael Doerflinger (grades one through 4) and Will Henry (grades 5 and 6).

The Man of Steel Awards for best won-loss record went to Kaleb Kamerer (grades one through 4) and Jared McDowell (grades 5-6). Kamerer was 15-1 and won the Area 7 heavyweight title for age 6-and-under. McDowell was 12-3.
