Casey Dudek set a school-record time of 2 minutes, 32 seconds in winning the 800-meter run for the Slippery Rock eighth-grade team at Friday's Mercer County Track and Field Championship at Greenville High School.

Dudek also helped the 1,600 relay team win with a time of 4:36. She was joined by Danielle Wissinger, Alyssa Waryanka and Mackenzie Burkhardt.

For the seventh-grade boys, Shane King won the 800 (2:22) and the 1,600 (5:24) while for the eighth-grade boys, Brock Sloan captured the high jump (5-4).
