The Northern Steel under-13 girls soccer team played in the Premier Division at the Dulles National and defeated the Reston (Va.) Rapids, 1-0, in the final.

Northern Steel had defeated Herndon Curve 2-0 and ABGCFreedom 6-1 earlier. Goalkeepers Charlene Doerr of Portersville and Macey Stalnaker of Butler allowed only one goal in the tournament.
