YOUTH HOCKEY

Nick Whann registered three goals and an assist to power the Pittsburgh Huskies Pee Wee AA hockey team with a 6-1 victory over the Allegheny Badgers.

The team followed up with a 3-3 tie against the Pittsburgh Aviators to maintain first place in the PAHL.

In the Badgers game, Camden Lydick added a goal and assist, and Dustin Davis also scored. Matt Tomasovic, Christian Miller, Eric Leya and Marcus Krstonich also added assists.

Against the Aviators, Whann, Lydick and Noah Moody each scored a goal. Tomasovic and Davis had assists.

Clay Bachman made a combined 28 saves in the two games for the Huskies (12-2-1), who will play Allegheny Saturday at the Valley Sports Complex.
