At the Mercer County Athletic Conference 7th-8th grade meet Friday, Slippery Rock came away with seven first-place performances, including four by the seventh grade girls team.
Riley McGonigle captured the long jump (12-7) and was a member of the winning 400 relay (57.4) and 1,600 relay (4:45.46) teams along with Aster Chmielewski, Haley Urben and Sarah Kadlubeck.
Janae Nebal also won the triple jump (26-11Z\v) while Morgan Siebka won the 100 hurdles (16.98) for the eighth-grade girls team.
For the seventh-grade boys, the 400 relay team of Aaron Rager, Nick Holly, Luke Wenzel and Mitchell May won the 1,600 relay (4:24.34) while the eighth-grade team did likewise (4:07.5) with the quartet of Shane King, Ryan Currie, Evan Myslovic and Dylan Neal.
