Robert K. 'Ham' Marburger
Robert K. “Ham” Marburger, 75, of Chippewa Township, formerly of Evans City, died Wednesday at UPMC Shadyside after a brief illness.
Born May 29, 1936, in Evans City to the late Glennwood and Martha Moyer Marburger, he was a member of the Chippewa Evangelical Free Church. He retired as executive vice president of the Union Building and Loan Savings Bank in Bridgewater after 34 years of service. He still served on the bank's board of directors.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, golfing, gardening, taking care of his yard and sports. He loved the game of baseball and played in the minor leagues in the 1950s for the New York Giants' farm teams.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Kay Kindleberger Marburger and their daughter, Brianna; Sandra Kennedy of Zelienople, his lifelong friend and mother of his three daughters who are Terri Clouse of Connoquenessing, Tracy Toney and her husband, Greg, of Beaver Falls and Toni Dehart of Cranberry Township; a brother and sister-in-law, Dennis and Irene Marburger of New Castle, and seven grandchildren, Kendal and Kira Clouse, Seth and Mason Dehart and Ceajay, Nathaniel and Matthew Toney.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Tyler K. Marburger and three infant children.

Marburger, who died Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2011, will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the <B>LUTTON CHIPPEWA FUNERAL HOME, </B>117 Blackhawk Road, Chippewa, Beaver County. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Chippewa Evangelical Free Church, 239 Braun Road, Beaver Falls, with the Rev.
