Sandra Ferguson
Sandra K. Ferguson, 86, of Passavant Senior Living, in Zelienople, passed away peacefully Thursday, June 25, 2026.
Sandra was born Oct. 31, 1939, in Slippery Rock, to Kenneth Harry and Mazie Edna (Patterson) Cooper.
Sandra was a graduate of Slippery Rock High School and went on to build a life shaped by curiosity, connection and a deep love of travel. She worked as a travel agent for various agencies, most recently with AAA, and her career reflected what she loved most — helping others discover the world. Sandra herself explored it widely, visiting all seven continents and cruising on at least 75 cruise liners.
Those who knew Sandra will remember her kindness and the generous way she shared her knowledge. She had a special gift for talking about places to go and things to do, always offering helpful suggestions with warmth and enthusiasm. She enjoyed reading, loved cats, and carried with her the values shaped by growing up in North Liberty Presbyterian Church.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Thomas Ferguson.
She is survived by her brothers, Clifford Cooper, Thomas (Nina) Cooper and Robert (Sue) Cooper. Her life was one of adventure, graciousness and a genuine interest in others. She brought joy through her stories, experience and her thoughtful spirit. Those memories will remain a lasting comfort to all who knew and loved her.
