YOUTH SPORTS

The Butler inline hockey team ended its regular season Sunday with a 10-6 loss to Seneca Valley.

Travis Grey scored four goals with Charlie Beers and Matt Steighner adding one each for Butler.

Other Seneca Valley Inline results follow:

SVVarsity IIBlack 4, Baldwin 3 — Alex Hoffman scored two goals with Colin McGinnis and Steve Pecora adding one each. Adam Gaus had two assists.

SVVarsity IIBlack 4, Shaler Blue 1 — Tony Poleti, Joey Price, John Spigelmyer and Colin McGinnis scored goals and Steve Pecora got two assists. Joe Lang faced 24 shots in net.

SVVarsity IIBlue 7, Montour 5 — Nick Verona scored four goals, Jamie Gloeckner had two and Ryan Schutte one.

SVVarsity III10, Butler 5 — Andrew Williams scored four goals and had two assists. Casey Chambers scored two goals, Kevin Goodnow had a goal and two assists, and Justin Lynn, Nick Cowan and Vanya Russo each scored once.

Pine-Richland 7, SVVarsity III2 — Matt Roth and Vanya Russo scored a goal each.

SVJV1 8, Baldwin 0 — Jake Fallon scored three goals and had three assists. Dustin Soller and Jaryd Herbert added two goals each and Shawn Johnston got a goal and an assist. Goalie Nick Hoch posted his fourth shutout.

Central Catholic 5, SVJV III 2 — Ian Friedrich and Greg Yobp scored goals.

Knoch had a pair of wrestlers win championships at the PAJunior Wrestling Area VIIFinals.Eric Green won at 80 pounds while Kameron Grassi won at 45 pounds, both in the 8-and-under division.

<B>Butler Catholic 38, Holy Sepulcher 19 — </B>Natalie Barkus and Olivia Wiest scored 11 points each, with Kailey Keep adding eight, Morgan McLaughlin six and Tori Sawhney two.<B>Butler Catholic 30, St. Mary's 16 — </B>Olivia Wiest scored 12 points, Natalie Barkus 10, Morgan McLaughlin four, and Tori Sawhney and Kailey Keep two each.<B>Butler 8th grade traveling 48, Grove City 9 — </B>Morgan Pfabe scored 13 points, Olivia Wiest 11, Natalie Barkus eight, Sam Marak and Suzy Klann six each, Taylor Huff and Rachel Konieczny two each.<B>Butler 8th grade traveling 41, Franklin 34 — </B>Morgan Pfabe scored 22 points with Morgan McLaughlin adding seven, Olivia Wiest five, Sam Marak 4, Taylor Huff two and Natalie Barkus one.
