SOUTH BUFFALO TWP, Armstrong County — David Foust, 33, of North Canton, Ohio, was charged Thursday with driving under the influence and aggravated assault.

Foust was stopped by state police at Route 422 at 10:18 p.m. after they received calls about his erratic driving.

Upon investigating, they determined that Foust was driving under the influence of alcohol and was taken to ACMH Hospital for blood testing.

While there, Foust allegedly assaulted two state troopers, shouting obscenities, while kicking one and spitting on the other.

According to the report, in the troopers’ attempts to detain him, Foust began to wrestle with them, and all three men ended up on the floor, with Foust eventually being held.
