The Butler junior high boys track and field team ended its regular season at 9-0 recently with a 110.5-16.5 victory over Pine-Richland.

The Golden Tornado have won 28 consecutive dual meets dating back to 2005.

Winning events for Butler were Carlos Sanchez in the 110-meter hurdles and 400 meters, Dakoda Collins in the 100 and 200, Trey Neveux in the 1,600, Cody West in the 800, triple jump and high jump, Mike McPherson in the shot put, Matt Cole in the discus, Alex Yonker in the long jump, Tanner Wahler in the pole vault.

The Butler junior high girls defeated Pine-Richland 100Z\x-26Z\x. First-place winners were Lexis Frost in the 100 hurdles, long jump and triple jump, Paige Allen in the 100 and 200, Autumn Crookshank in the 1,600, Jocelyn Duttry in the shot put and discus, Paige Rittelman in the high jump and Amber Zanella in the pole vault.

The Prospect Boys and Girls Club under-14 travel team posted three wins recently, defeating Center 4-0, New Brighton 5-4 and Seneca Valley 3-0.C.A. Thomas, Josh Stutz, Cole McCandless and Michael Stutz scored against Center. Jordan Marks and Thomas shared the win in goal.Michael Stutz scored three goals against New Brighton, with Quay Barnhart and McCandless adding one each. Marks made 10 saves.Levi Leonberg, Johnny Marks and Michael Stutz scored against Seneca Valley. Marks recorded 12 saves for the shutout.

Butler's K-4 youth team defeated Pine-Richland, 14-2, as Jake Roskovski and Justin Jablonski scored five goals each. Andrew Monks, Ben and Luke Kranbacher scored one goal each.Winning goalkeeper Luke Tomasovic has registered 29 saves on the season. Butler hosts Pine-Richland at 6:30 p.m. today.
