2:02 a.m. Sunday — Police issued several alcohol-related citations stemming from a party at the Belmont Road home of Sean J. Pelusi.A caller complaining about noise sent officers to the home, where they found "extremely loud music and singing," a police report said. Police also found that several minors at the party had allegedly consumed alcohol.Police said Pelusi is charged with furnishing alcohol to minors and violating the city's noise ordinance. Cited for underage drinking were Aaron F. Bonus, 19, of Center Township; Allison Codispot, 20, of Butler; Brittany E. Frazer, 18, of Butler Township, Camron L. Mariotti, 18, of Fenelton; and a 17-year-old Butler girl.Sunday — Barbara Crowe reported that someone overnight slashed all four tires of her car at her Fairview Avenue apartment. Damage was estimated at $400.7:30 p.m. Saturday — Heather M. Mason, 33, and Heidi Lynn Wade, 21, both of Winfield Township are accused of allegedly shoplifting $103 in cosmetics at the Kmart store in Pullman Square. Police said both women are charged with retail theft.
Friday — Two people were arrested for driving under the influence during roving DUI patrols in Butler County.Officers said 57 vehicles were stopped during the holiday detail and, in addition to the DUI arrests, 30 traffic tickets were issued. Also, police made a drug arrest, and issued two summary criminal citations and wrote 27 traffic-related warnings.
Sunday — A Hewlett-Packard laptop computer, jewelry, DVDs and about $50 was stolen in a burglary between 3:30 and 7:30 p.m. at a Route 8 home in Brady Township. Police said the unknown burglar kicked in a basement window and forced open the basement door to get inside the home.Sunday — Nothing was reported taken in a burglary between 8 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. Sunday at a home and nearby trailer on Hooker Road in Fairview Township.3:34 a.m. Friday — Brooke Williams, 23, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence as she was about to leave a Claytonia Road home in Clay Township.Police said Williams was at the home to confront 19-year-old Matthew McDougall of West Sunbury about an earlier matter, and the two got into an argument during which Williams allegedly scratched the man's face and neck. In addition to DUI, Williams is charged with simple assault, police said.Wednesday — A cash box containing $110 was stolen in an overnight burglary at Slippery Rock All-Season Supply on Route 173 in Slippery Rock Township.1:49 p.m. Thursday — Sherri L. McCandless, 33, of Slippery Rock swerved her car to avoid an oncoming minivan, and struck an embankment and rolled onto its roof on West Liberty Road about one mile west of Route 8 in Brady Township. Susan M. Graham, 40, of Slippery Rock was driving the van.June 16 — An unknown thief stole a 1996 Oldsmobile Cutlass from the driveway of a Greenhill Road home in Fairview Township, and crashed it on Magnolia Road. The theft occurred between 10 p.m. June 15 and 4:45 a.m. June 16.11:45 p.m. April 7 — Willis A. Miller, 27, of Chicora was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 268 in Fairview Township.
1:30 a.m. Saturday — Patrick Joseph Glennon, 23, of Parker suffered cuts to an arm and his chin in a reported assault at the parking lot of the Parker House bar in Parker. Police said they have no suspects in the case and released no other information about the investigation.
Saturday — A Grove City man's blue, 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan Sport minivan was stolen overnight on Route 158 in Wilmington Township.8:43 p.m. Thursday — Three New Castle teenagers were hurt when their sport utility vehicle crashed into a culvert along Old Route 422 in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County.Alyssa Rife, 17, who was driving the SUV, and two passengers, 17-year-old Daniel Hookway and 14-year-old Matthew Hookway, were treated at Jamison Hospital in New Castle for moderate injuries. Police said Rife was cited for driving at an unsafe speed. None of the injured youths was wearing a seat belt.
