RURAL VALLEY, Armstrong County — Two men were killed Friday in a crash on Route 85 just west of the Water Street intersection.

County Coroner Brian Myers said in a statement that Thomas Lowell Dean, 86, and Jacob Adam Iseman, 32, died at the scene of the crash.

Dean, of Dayton, Armstrong County, at about 4:40 p.m. reportedly crossed the center line in his 2002 Chevy Silverado 1500 while eastbound and struck the 2010 Ford Fusion of Iseman, 32, of Ford City who was traveling west.

Myers said both drivers, who were wearing seat belts, suffered multiple blunt force trauma injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene.

The wreck remained under investigation Saturday.

State police are asking that anyone who witnessed the crash call the Kittanning barracks at 724-543-2011.
