Elizabeth M. Vecchio, 64, of Butler lost her fight against cancer Saturday at her home.

Born Feb. 15, 1946, in Butler, she was a daughter of Mary (Logut) Rozic and the late Joseph Rozic.

She was a homemaker, a member of St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church in Meridian and the Red Hat Society, and she enjoyed gardening.

Surviving are her husband, Tony Vecchio, who she married May 23, 1993; her mother, Mary Rozic of Butler; two sons, Brian Swall of Manassas, Va., and Edward Swall of Sterling, Va.; six grandchildren, Chris, Katie, and T.J. Swall, and Vanessa, Meghan and Amanda Swall; two brothers, Bernie Rozic of Butler and Joe Rozic of Hawaii; and a sister, Ellie Benson of Butler.
