2:01 p.m. Wednesday — Christopher G. Zulick faces a trespassing charge after he went to the Greenview Gardens Apartments. Zulick was told in an April 29 letter that he had been barred from the property.5:35 a.m. Wednesday — Cars driven by Cortnie Meehan, 27, of Cranberry Township and Harold Watterson, 58, of Karns City collided at West Jefferson and North Chestnut streets. Meehan, who was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with minor injuries, was cited for not stopping at a flashing red light.2:47 a.m. Friday — Arnold Eugene Watterson, 43, of Pittsburgh was arrested for driving under the influence on Highland Street. John F. Clemens, 56, of Clay Township, a passenger in the vehicle, was cited for public drunkenness.Friday — A 13-year-old girl faces a drug-related charge in juvenile court after she was found with about 1 gram of suspected marijuana at the Butler Junior High School. The girl was cited for possession of a small amount of marijuana.

6:15 p.m. Tuesday — Olav Johnson, 56, of Butler is accused of assaulting his girlfriend during a domestic dispute at his Villa Drive home. Johnson allegedly choked the woman and threw her into a dresser. He is charged with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct.

12:14 a.m. Tuesday — Darrin May, 44, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Whitestown Road in Butler Township.Tuesday — Someone stole two sets of deer antlers, valued at $11,000, from an unlocked utility trailer on Slippery Rock Road in Slippery Rock Township. Robert McConnell of Slippery Rock owns the property that was stolen between 7 p.m. Monday and 11:30 a.m. Tuesday.Tuesday — A 50-inch plasma television was among several items stolen in a burglary at a house on Hemlock Road in Parker Township. Also taken in the break-in between 7 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. was a Sony PlayStation 2, Nintendo Wii and laptop computer.Tuesday — Assorted items were taken between 12:15 and 2:11 a.m. from two vehicles parked at a Maple Drive home in Center Township. In one of the break-ins, the window of a car was broken and a purse stolen. Unspecified items were taken from an unlocked pickup truck in the other theft.11:45 p.m. Monday — Abhilash Karri, 23, of Erie was hurt after the northbound car he was driving hit a deer on Interstate 79 in Muddy Creek Township. The car then traveled through the center median, crossed the southbound lanes and slammed into the guardrail.The car went over the guardrail and ended in the woods about 75 feet off the highway. Karri, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered a minor injury.3:51 p.m. Monday — Cars driven by Mark D. Nameth, 60, of McKees Rocks, Allegheny County, and Norman T. Chute, 55, of Zelienople collided on I-79 in Muddy Creek Township. Nameth was cited for a lane violation.10 p.m. Sunday — Two youths used a screwdriver to puncture tires of at least two vehicles in the Lake Arthur Estates trailer park in Muddy Creek Township. The suspects, 13 and 14 years old, face criminal mischief charges. Damage was estimated at $220.11:05 p.m. Friday — Alycia L. Hooks, 18, of Greenville, Mercer County, was arrested for DUI after her car struck another car on I-79 in Lancaster Township.The crash occurred after Hooks answered a cell phone while passing the other car, driven by Matthew J. Barnes, 34, of Linesville, Crawford County. Hooks' car struck the side of Barnes' car, causing Barnes to lose control of his vehicle and hit a guardrail.In addition to DUI, Hooks is charged with careless driving and minor prohibited from driving with any alcohol in their system.April 27 — A camera, computer memory cards, checkbook, credit cards and loose change were among the items stolen from three unlocked vehicles on East Brandon Lane near Route 68 in Summit Township.April 26 — Three long guns were stolen from an unlocked detached garage in a burglary at the Macklin Lane home of Robert Macklin in Summit Township.Stolen were a Mossberg 20-gauge pump shotgun, a Winchester .30-06 with a Tasco scope and a Winchester .22 lever-action rifle, also with a Tasco scope. The unknown burglar also stole a metal gun case. The stolen property is valued at $1,325.April 25 — Someone cut the hydraulic lines of a John Deere log skidder and stole the fuel tank cap from the machine on Walheim Road in Venango Township.
