Audit: S. Butler schools followed rules
JEFFERSON TWP — A state audit of South Butler School District has found that the district followed appropriate laws, rules and other guidelines between 2012 and last year, according to a news release from state Auditor General Eugene DePasquale.
The audit looked at how the district handled separations of employment with three administrators, its transportation operations, professional certifications for staff members, bus driver requirements and school safety.
“Our audit found that the District performed adequately in (those) areas,” the state’s audit report reads, in part.
The audit resulted in no findings — meaning that state officials did not recommend any corrective actions or find any improper practices, according to the state’s report.
