CRANBERRY TWP — Authorities suspect a 29-year-old man died Wednesday of a drug overdose at his home on Unionville Road.

Tyler Bruce Smith was pronounced dead about 8:30 a.m., said Butler County Deputy Coroner Larry Barr. An autopsy was conducted later that day but a cause of death is pending toxicology reports.

Smith’s mother found him unresponsive on the floor of his bedroom. Authorities said he lived with his parents.

Cranberry Township Police are investigating but a report was not immediately available.
