Easley

Millie Easley, 93, formerly of Chicora and Butler, died Saturday at Sunnyview Home.

Born March 8, 1914, she was the daughter of Leo P. Neff and Clara Marie Geibel Neff.

She was a member of Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church in Chicora, where she belonged to the Christian Mothers, and later St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, being a member of the Blue Army at both parishes.

She is survived by her son, Edward Easley, and his wife, Leeann, of Meadville; six daughters, Joyce Wilson (Phillip), Rose Ann Rattigan (Ben Jr.), Dottie Thomas (Kenneth) and Connie Schawl (George), all of Butler, and Mary Lou Pannell (Patrick) of Texas and Maureen Pahler (Thomas) of Strongville, Ohio; two brothers, Regis Neff (Averil) of Chicora and Robert Neff (Audrey) of Texas; 30 grandchildren, four step grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and five great- great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice James Easley, whom she married on Aug. 17, 1940. He died May 20, 1973. She was also preceded in death by a great-great-grandson, Mitchell Smith; three grandchildren, Connan Schawl, George Schawl and Christopher Hanna; and three sisters, Sister Leo Clare Neff, Sister Lucinia Neff and Geraldine Angert.

<B>EASLEY — </B>Friends of Millie C. Easley, who died on Dec. 22, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the <B>GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME,</B> 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler. Friends will also be received from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church, 409 N. Main St., Chicora. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church with the Rev. Steven V. Neff officiating.
