Some facts and figures on the Butler Township 14-year-old Federated Pony League baseball team, off to a 14-1 start this season:
• Nine of the team's 12 players — Matt Baranchak, Thomas Bruce, Chris Cotton, Dante Dorcy, Dalton Koebler, Sperncer Murray, David Tompkins, Cody West and Alex Ziegler — played on the BT12-year-old team that reached the Little League World Series regional two years ago.
• Mickey Fennell, Michael Johnston and Colin Williamson round out the roster. Fennell and Williamson have hit 1-2 in the batting order.
• The team has outscored its opponents 158-36 in its 14 wins.
• Butler Township has scored 10 or more runs in 11 of its 14 wins and has won by the 10-run rule nine times.
• Ziegler has pitched two shutouts while Koebler and Baranchak have tossed one each.
• Bruce has hit three of the team's six home runs.
• Butler Township's team batting average is over .500 and the squad has drawn more walks (63) than strikeouts (54) at the plate.
