Jesse Garing and Evan Miller both scored a goal as the Karns City U14 soccer team defeated Prospect Boys and Girls Club, 2-0 in Butler County Soccer Association play on Sunday.

Contributing assists were Kristian Crosbie and Eric McCue.

Garing and Dereck Sadowski shared the shutout in net.

In other games:

• The Slippery Rock U14 team defeated Beaver 2-1. Devan Hribal and Daniel Jeon scored the goals, and Jesse Laughner and J.J. Graham combined for seven saves on goal.

• The Northern Steel U-13 girls played in a tournament at Lodi, Ohio, over the weekend. Demi Depastino scored the only goal in a 1-all tie with the Jackson Fury. Vicki Crise scored the lone goal in a 1-all tie with the NCSL Eagles.
