Bauer 60th anniversary
Chester “Dutch” and Wilma Bauer of Butler are honoring 60 years of marriage with a celebration of singing, dancing and playing games at the family camp.
Bauer married the former Wilma Kuhn on June 24, 1954, at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Herman.
They have 12 children, Louis Bauer of New York, Marie Baronetski of West Sunbury, Linda Mazzanti of Butler, Gary Bauer of Kentucky, Ray Bauer of Butler, Barbara Holt of Butler, Les Bauer of Butler, Howard Bauer of Butler, Ruth Jamison of Virginia, Walt Bauer of Harmony, David Bauer of Emlenton and Chuck Bauer of Chicora.
They also have 32 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Bauer retired from the family business, Bauer Excavating, that he started in 1973.
Mrs. Bauer is a homemaker. She retired as a bookkeeper for Bauer Excavating.
The Bauers are members of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Herman.
