Ruth Alice Park
Ruth Alice Park, 63, of 147 Shaner Drive, Buffalo Township, died at 4 a.m. Wedn-esday at her home.
Born Nov. 14, 1943, in Buffalo Township, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Marie Becker Susek.
She was an aide at Mason Manor Assisted Living in Buffalo Township for nine years and a cook at Lernerville for 15 years.
Mrs. Park was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Buffalo Township, where she belonged to the Ladies Guild and chaired the funeral luncheon committee. She also was involved with Boy Scout Troop 523.
She collected teddy bears. She enjoyed caring for small children and was known as "Mum" in the neighborhood.
Surviving are her husband of 39 years, Gary M. Park; her children, Bonnie (Howard) Ferrenberg Sr. of Winfield Township, Tammy (Leo) Zaremba Jr. of Natrona Heights, Nancy Park and her fiancé, Glenn Riley, of Buford, Ga., Gary A. Park of Buffalo Township, Brenda (Tim) Whited of Buford and Debra Park of Buffalo Township; and her grandchildren, Kellie Grabe, Howard Ferrenberg Jr., Jacob Warren and Tyler Whited and Matthew and Alan Riley.
She also is survived by a sister, Mary (Charles) Scovern of Brackenridge; a foster brother, Charles (Donna) Susek of New Kensington; a brother, Edward Erb and his wife, Dianne, of Tarentum; and a sister, Sandie Greene of Lower Burrell.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, David and Lou Erb.
<B>PARK </B>— Friends of Ruth Alice Park, who died Wednesday, June 6, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the <B>Duster Funeral Home</B>, 10th Avenue at Corbet Street, Tarentum. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with the Rev. Emery Barnett officiating. Everyone is to meet at the church. Burial will be at the Mt.
