J. Richard "Bud" Gilger, 79, of Oil City died at 12:29 a.m. Monday at Physicians Regional Hospital, Naples, Fla.

Surviving are his wife of many years, Elizabeth Breene Gilger; a son, John Gilger of Hamilton, N.Y.; two daughters, Elizabeth Gilger of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Jane Gilger Miller and her husband, Chris, of Overland Park, Kan.; a grandson, Zachary Miller of Overland Park; and a sister; Marilyn Gilger Beals and her husband, Duane, of Kyle, Texas.
