William H. Weinig
William H. Weinig, 87, of Beech Road died at 1:15 a.m. Saturday at the Chicora Medical Center.
Born Jan. 4, 1919, in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of Eugene and Mary Spelich Weinig.
He retired as a mechanic for the New York City Transit Authority. He was a veteran of the Navy.
Mr. Weinig is survived by his wife, Nicoletta Petron; a stepdaughter, Catherine Diaz of Butler; three daughters, Catherine Alwaise of Ceaford, N.Y., Mary Maslovsky of Westfield, N.J., and Mrs. Jack (Esther) Guastella of Bogata, N.J.; nine grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. A brother, Eugene Weinig of Westfield, N.J., also survives.
