Butler police seek 16-year-old girl
Butler police are searching for a 16-year-old girl who was last seen Friday night.
Caitlyn Wodarski left her family’s home about 9 p.m. and is considered a runaway, said police Deputy Chief David Adam.
“It appears she left on her own accord,” Adam said this morning. She is not considered to be in any danger.
Police also believe that she may be with Zackary Delaney, 18, of Butler. Authorities were not certain of the teens’ relationship but they could be girlfriend-boyfriend.
Caitlyn is described as white, 5 feet, 6 inches tall, and 135 pounds. She has black hair and blue eyes.
Delaney is white, 6, feet, 2 inches tall, and 250 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes.
Police did not know what kind of clothes the teenagers were wearing.
Caitlyn’s family filed a missing person’s report with police about 1 p.m. Saturday.
The family believed she possibly wanted to travel to Harrisburg, where her sister lives. But there has been no reported contact between the two siblings, Adam said.
Police did not immediately know if Delaney was driving a vehicle. It also was not know when he was last seen.
Anyone with information about Caitlyn’s whereabouts is asked to call 911.
