BUTLER TWP — Butler’s junior high football team defeated Pine-Richland, 21-12, recently at Art Bernardi Stadium.

Noah Ryder scored on a 21-yard run for the Golden Tornado and Scotty Deitrich found the end zone on a 15-yard run, Adam Jendesky adding a two-point conversion.

Deitrich intercepted a pass and returned the ball 30 yards to quell a Pine-Richland threat before Ryder scored on a 12-yard run. Jake Kradel booted a PAT for Butler (2-0).
