Butler Junior High wins
Butler’s junior high football team enjoyed a 33-14 victory over Seneca Valley recently at Art Bernardi Stadiujm.
Noah Ryder scored on a 32-yard run and Drew Darney added the PAT. Ryder added a 25-yard touchdown run and Scotty Dietrich scored on runs of nine yards and a yard. Adam Jendesky’s two-point conversion gave the Golden Tornado a 27-8 lead by halftime.
Butler’s lone score of the second half occurred when Dawson Davenport caused a fumble and returned it 40 yards for a touchdown.
The Tornado defense was led by Logan Dubyak, Donovan Slater and Zak Dovenspike.
