The Butler YMCA swim team won its second dual meet of the season recently, defeating Indiana YMCA by winning eight of 10 age groups.

Breaking team records were Laura Goettler — who improved her mark in the age 9-10 girls 100-yard medley to 1 minute, 10.20 seconds — and the 13-14 200 medley relay team of Camryn Forbes, Abbie Jones, Meredith Cummings and Jill McElhaney. They set a record time of 1:55.44.

Netting first-place finishes in events for Butler girls were Goettler, Abbie Griffith, Amanda Noellert, Lindsey Fanton, Regan Kelley, Jones, Cummings, McElhaney, Forbes, Macie Pennington and Taylor Campbell.

Butler boys finishing first were Caden Traggiai, Gideon Goettler, Sam Schirra, David Bocci, Trent Donaldson, Matt Karenbauer, Alexander Deemer, John Wilson, Austin Wittmer, Ryan Deemer, Ian Lindsey and Noah Donovan.
