Linda Stuchal
Linda D. Stuchal, 75, of Slippery Rock, passed away at her home Sunday, July 12, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Linda was born Sept. 21, 1950, in Grove City. She was the daughter of the late Francis L. and Nellie E. (Pickford) Sutherland. She graduated from Slippery Rock High School.
Linda married Richard W. Stuchal on Oct. 16, 1971. Together the couple had three children, Dawn, Lisa and Cory.
Linda retired from the post office after 33 years of service.
Linda’s family was her pride and joy, especially her grandchildren and her precious great-grandchildren. She loved all things farming and had a special passion for collecting Minneapolis-Moline tractors. What began as her father, Francis Sutherland’s, collection has grown into more than 50 tractors and implements, a legacy she cherished deeply. She and her husband loved traveling to tractor shows together, sharing that hobby with friends old and new, and she passed that same love of MM tractors on to all of her grandchildren.
Linda also had a lifelong love of flowers. In recent years, one of her greatest joys was helping her granddaughter build her greenhouse business — choosing the flowers, planting them as they arrived and proudly selling them to the community. Her days were filled with family, farming and flowers, and she poured her heart into each of them.
Loved ones to cherish Linda’s memory are her husband, Rick; her daughter, Lisa (James) Bauer; her son, Cory (Nikole) Stuchal; her sister, Shirley Sutherland; her grandchildren, James (Victoria) Bauer, Skylar Bauer and Jesse (Avyriel) Bauer; and her beloved great-grandchildren, Violet and Baby Boy Bauer arriving in November.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents; stepmother, Ruth Sutherland; her daughter, Dawn M. Stuchal; sister-in-law, Lydia Stuchal; brother-in-law, Harry Stuchal; and her in-laws, Charles and Betty Stuchal.
