Constance ‘Connie’ Miller

Miller

Constance Mae “Connie” Miller, 80, of Slippery Rock, formerly of Butler, passed away peacefully at home in the presence of her family on Saturday, July 11, 2026.

Born in Butler on April 17, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Lucy and Tom Burnatoski.

She was married for 60 years to the love of her life, Ronald Miller. Ron and Connie spent their later years caring for their beautiful country home in Slippery Rock.

In her younger years, you could find Connie working at Isaly’s in Butler. She was office manager for beloved Butler pediatrician Dr. William Ashbaugh. She also volunteered at several local libraries. She loved reading and encouraged everyone to read.

Connie enjoyed spending time in the kitchen, trying a new recipe or perfecting an old classic. She loved quilting and her heart was woven into every stitch. It brought her great joy sharing quilts with family and friends. Everything she did was with love, including gardening and card club.

Above all, Connie loved spending time with her family and friends. She was always giving of time and energy. She taught her children and grandchildren how to live and love. She found peace in Jesus Christ and was a true believer.

In addition to her loving husband, Ronald, Connie is survived by her children, Melinda Gregory and her husband, Clarence; Dr. Howard Miller and his wife, Tammy; and Vince Miller and his wife, Jessica. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Preston, Clint, Annabelle, Alexis, Aiden, Kaylee, Peyton and Grace; her sisters, Wilma, Barbara, Sheila and Cheryl; and many loving nieces and nephews.

“A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies. The man who never reads lives only one.” — George R.R. Martin
