Karl H. Litzenberg, 90, of Butler, formerly of Greece City, passed away peacefully Thursday, May 28, 2026, at Concordia of Cabot.

He was born May 29, 1935, in Butler County, the son of the late Herbert S. and Myrtle J. (Miller) Litzenberg.

Karl was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was a member of Christ Community Methodist Church, in Butler. He retired after his career with Armco Steel.

Karl is survived by his niece, Diana Campbell, and his nephew, David Campbell, both of Butler.

He was preceded in death by his infant son; one brother, Donald Litzenberg; and one sister, Rita Campbell.

LITZENBERG — Family and friends of Karl H. Litzenberg, who died Thursday, May 28, 2026, will be received from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 2, at WILLIAM F. YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 132 Main St., West Sunbury. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Dawn Lynn Check, of Christ Community Church, officiating.

Burial will be held at Concord Cemetery.
