Nowicki

Susan E. Nowicki, 87, of Cabot, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at her home.

Born Aug. 11, 1938, in New Kensington, she was the daughter of James Gray and Marcella Schiebel Gray.

Susan was a farmer’s wife, doing anything that was needed on the farm. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, St. Mary Church, in Herman.

Surviving are her children, Julie Simonin, of Jacksonville, Fla., Eric (Sue) Nowicki, of Greensburg, Valerie (Jay) Gombos, of Cabot, Christine (Ron) Nowicki Taukus, of Butler, and Ethan (Tracee) Nowicki, of Cabot; two sisters, Mary Kay Horton, of Cabot, and Barbara Gray, of Cabot; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Daniel Nowicki, on Jan. 14, 2024.

NOWICKI — Friends of Susan E. Nowicki, who died Wednesday, May 27, 2026, will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, May 29, at FOX FUNERAL HOME, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 30, at the St. Francis of Assisi Parish, St. Mary Church, in Herman, with Father James Kurts, OFM Cap., officiating.
