Eleanor Marie Harvey, 86, of Butler, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at Concordia at the Orchard, in Butler.

She was born Jan. 5, 1940, in Saxonburg, the daughter of the late Francis and Arletta (Seybert) Harvey.

Eleanor retired as a baker from Friedman’s, Greater Butler Mart. She was a hardworking woman who grew up on a farm and carried that strong work ethic throughout her life. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends and was an avid animal lover.

Surviving are her children, Tina Green, of Butler, Kevin Blakley, of Butler, Shawn (Linda Williams) Blakley, of Slippery Rock, and Christie (James Valensky) Adamsky, of Butler; her grandchildren, Brittany Wilson, Makenzie Blakley, Brooke Valensky and Richard Osborne and family; her great-grandchildren, Blake Celender, Maddox Wilson and Kadence Dennis; her sister, Pamela Harvey; and her brother, Paul Harvey.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Vioret; and her grandson, Daniel Summerville.

HARVEY — A celebration of life will be held at a later date for Eleanor Marie Harvey, who died Wednesday, May 27, 2026.
