Marian Dambach
Marian Catherine Dambach, 98, of Ellwood City and formerly of Hickory Township, Lawrence County, passed away Monday, May 25, 2026, at Quality Life Services — New Castle.
Marian was born Feb. 2, 1928, in Allison Park, to Charles William Kuhlber and Alice Amelia King Kuhbler.
She married Dean Richard Dambach on Feb. 26, 1949, and he preceded her in death on Sept. 7, 2009.
She was a full-time homemaker for most of her married life, but then worked as a coder at Liberty Mutual Insurance in New Castle for over 20 years.
Marian was the oldest living member of Leesburg ECO Presbyterian Church and had attended Dutilh United Methodist Church in Cranberry Township.
Marian was loving, patient and kind. She always enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include her daughter, Patty K. (Thomas) Bishop, of Ellwood City; five grandchildren, Gretchen (Steven) Fritsch, of Hudson, Ohio, Kimberly (Kirk) Haberman, of Beaver Falls, Timothy (Anna) Bishop, of Loveland, Colo., Robyn Mullin, of Baden, Pa., and Abigail (Nathan) Donolo, of McMurray, Pa.; 13 great-grandchildren, Hallie and Addy Fritsch, Bryden, Simon, George and Daphne Haberman, Cole and Lilly Mullin, Ezra, Emery and Darla Bishop, and Wyatt and Leona Donolo.
Marian was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sons, Edward Charles Dambach, in 2026, and infant, Gary Dean Dambach; and two sisters, Helen Kuhlber Herr and Betty Kuhlber Martin.
DAMBACH — The family of Marian Catherine Dambach, who died Monday, May 25, 2026, will receive friends from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, May 31, at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Village of Leesburg, 1778 Perry Highway, Volant.
Friends will also be received from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Monday, June 1, at Leesburg ECO Presbyterian Church, 1831 Perry Highway, Volant.
There will be a funeral service at 11 a.m. Monday, June 1, at the church, with the Rev. Tony Fallisi, of New Hampshire, presiding.
Interment will be in Leesburg Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Leesburg ECO Presbyterian Church, Good Samaritan Hospice, or Quality Life Services — New Castle.
