Master Gardeners help beautify Saxonburg
We are writing regarding the article published in the Community section of the Butler Eagle on Tuesday, March 24, (“Plant starters available at Saxonburg library,” Page 7) concerning the seed-sharing program and the six gardens created over the last four-and-a-half years at the South Butler County Library.
While the article highlighted the wonderful progress of the project, we would be remiss not to recognize the other dedicated Master Gardeners who have worked diligently to make these gardens a reality. Their hard work and expertise have been vital to our success.
We would like to publicly thank and acknowledge: JoAnn Washburn, Gayle Ferree, Aimee Miller, Georgia Peters, Debbie Stolz, Jenny Stuebing, Audrey Tristani, Michelle Evans, Mary Ellen and Lou Benedict, Dawne Lawton.
Thank you for helping us give credit to these Master Gardeners volunteering to beautify our library in Saxonburg. Please take time to visit the library gardens this year!
Bonnie Miller and Kathy Allen,
Saxonburg
