The Butler Eagle is very balanced in its coverage of local and national events and issues. At a time when many papers are going out of business, the Butler Eagle is winning awards for its coverage of local news and events.

Recent coverage of the rescue of Marc Fogel and the article “Missing Money: How the state budget impasse is costing Butler County schools millions,” (Oct. 26, 2025) are great examples.

There are a lot of issues that people are concerned with today: high prices for gas and groceries, the war in Iran and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. I feel that these are issues that affect everyone in Butler County and should not be considered to be simply liberal concerns.
