A Cranberry Township man was accused of driving his truck through the football field at Graham Park, according to documents filed last week.

Steven D. Berwick, 20, was charged May 9 with misdemeanor criminal mischief after police said he caused damage to the area last month.

Police said around 10:30 p.m. April 3, Berwick drove his Ford F-150 pickup truck onto the football field at UPMC Passavant’s Sportsplex in Graham Park and left ruts.

According to charging documents, surveillance video was used to identify Berwick’s vehicle. Police said Berwick admitted to driving in the field when he was interviewed.

Berwick left $1,054 in damage to the field, police said.

Berwick’s preliminary hearing is scheduled June 7 before District Judge Kevin Flaherty.
