YMCA’s Healthy Kids Day returns April 20
The YMCA’s annual Healthy Kids Day, a nationwide effort to improve the health and well-being of all children, returns to the Butler YMCA on Saturday, April 20, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Healthy Kids Day has been a tradition at branches of the YMCA across the nation for the past 30 years. This year, the YMCA has brought the characters from Peanuts to the event as part of a three-year licensing deal.
The Butler YMCA will feature vendors and clubs from across the county, including the YMCA’s own unicycle club, the Butler County Humane Society, and the Center for Community Resources. Both the Butler Fire Department and the Butler Ambulance Service will bring their vehicles for children to look at.
The YMCA is also offering sign-ups for its summer camp, as well as 50% discounts for its youth basketball league.
