They will be presented with awards at the 20th Annual Pittsburgh Carson Scholars Awards Ceremony April 7 at Acrisure Stadium.

The following students will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship, medal and certificate:

Butler Catholic School: Kamryn Martin

Haine Middle School: Yasmeen Fahs

Knoch High School: Richard Zolinas

North Catholic High School: Julia Schaarsmith

Previously recognized scholars include Kaitlyn Dick, Campbell Clouse and Casey Clouse from Butler Area Senior High School, Reilly Martin from First Baptist Christian School, Ethan Lu, Claire Elliott, Angela Zacherl and James Orlando from North Catholic High School and Katelyn Phillips from Saint Kilian Parish School.

The nonprofit was founded in 1994 by Ben Carson and his wife, Candy.
