Hogg

Janis E. Hogg, 60, of Mars, passed away Sunday morning, Feb. 4, 2024, in the comfort of her home.

Born in Erie, on March 22, 1963, she was the daughter of Gerald “Jerry” Brunson and the late Marjorie Johnson Brunson.

Janis had been a receptionist/customer service rep for Billco Volkswagen in Wexford.

A 1981 graduate of Mars High School, she loved to read, do puzzles and spend time on Facebook.

She was a member of LifePointe Alliance Church in Mars and had been director of Upward Basketball at the church.

Surviving are her husband, Arthur T. Hogg, whom she married on Sept. 23, 1988; her son, Arthur A. Hogg of McCandless Township; her daughter, Victoria Bower (Luke) of Richmond, Va.; her father, Gerald “Jerry” Brunson of Mars; and her sister, Deb Kuhn (Phil) of Mars.

HOGG — Arrangements for Janis E. Hogg, who died Sunday, Feb. 4, 2024, are incomplete at this time under the direction of MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars. A celebration of life is being planned.
