Harry Fry
Harry E. Fry, 85, of Butler, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024, at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born Aug. 10, 1938, in Butler, he was the son of the late Clarance and Lillian Fry.
Harry was a Butler High School graduate. He worked as an electrician for most of his life for Butler Local 10 and Pittsburgh Local 5. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers for more than 50 years and Butler Masonic Lodge. Harry enjoyed bird watching, “Seinfeld,” Donut Connection, all animals and — above all — spending time with family.
He is survived by his wife, Judy (Frederick) Fry, whom he married on July 26, 1958; his children, Mark (Alison) Fry, Timothy Fry and Pamela (David) Barnes; four grandchildren, Matthew Barnes, Kristin Eberly, Madalyn Fry and Joshua Fry; and one great-grandson, Conner Eberly. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by parents, Clarance and Lillian (Hockenberry) Fry; an infant daughter; two brothers, Clarance Fry Jr. and Richard Fry; and five sisters, Bernice Radwanski, Twila Duncan, ValJean Bowser, Lucille Domhoff and Gail Leinenbach.
FRY — Friends of Harry E. Fry, who died Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024, will be received from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Pastor Brandon Lenhart officiating.
Burial will follow the service at Butler County Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to North Main Street Church of God, 1201 N. Main St. Ext., Butler, PA 16001.
