Drobezko

Margaret M. Drobezko, 90, of West Liberty, passed away Thursday, Feb. 1, 2024, in the care of the staff at Newhaven Court at Clearview and VNA Hospice.

Born Oct. 27, 1933, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna Durik Cupec.

She was a homemaker and caregiver. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family and cats.

She is survived by her two sons, retired Col. Joseph M. Drobezko and his wife, Beth, of Gainesville, Mo., and David J. Drobezko and his wife, Eva, of Slippery Rock; two daughters, Cheryl D. Fraser and her husband, Roger, of Little Rock, Ark., and Mary D. Campbell and her husband, Charlie, of Slippery Rock; four grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Joseph F. Drobezko; her sisters, Ann Skunda, Helen Martin and Mary Grant; and her brothers, Andrew Maczej, Steve Cupec, John Cupec and Joe Cupec.

DROBEZKO — A public graveside service for Margaret M. Drobezko, who died Thursday, Feb. 1, 2024, will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Anthony Cemetery in Harrisville with the Rev. Dr. Tina Hosler of the Plain Grove Presbyterian Church presiding.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Butler Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Road, Renfrew, PA 16053.
