Bonnie Simpson went “home” peacefully on Thursday, Dec. 14, 2023, in the presence of her family.

She was mother to Greg (Susan) Simpson and Erin Simpson; grandmother to Amanda Edgington, Niki (Logan) Collins and Kaila Nick; and great-grandmother to Lacy Edgington, Mason Edgington, Eli Collins and another expected in June. She also is survived by brothers, Laird (Harriet) Parke of Oakmont, Pa., Dennis (Carlynn) Parke of Hamilton, Mont., and Kirk (Kathy) Parke of Campbellsburg, Ind.

She was preceded in death by her father, David Parke; and mother, Elmo (Wigton) Parke.

SIMPSON — A private memorial service for Bonnie Simpson, who died Thursday, Dec. 14, 2023, will be held in January for immediate family and close friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to the Alzheimer's Association or International Rett Syndrome Foundation in Bonnie’s memory.
