The Armstrong County Community Foundation has openings on its scholarship committee, which awards scholarships to Armstrong County high school seniors and adults who want to further their education.

The foundation reviews more than 200 applications a year. The scholarship online application process opens Friday, Dec. 1, and closes on Feb. 15. Each application reviewer will get a link with instructions on how to review and score each scholarship online, and reviewers have about a month to complete their reviews and scoring.

In 2023, the foundation awarded over $200,000 in scholarships, according to a news release from the organization. Call the community foundation at 724-548-5897 for information on applying.
