T-shirt sale to benefit mother of Mason Martin
Knoch girls varsity volleyball boosters are selling pink T-shirts at the games on Oct. 10 and Oct. 17. Both games are at 6 p.m.
All proceeds from the sales will benefit Stacy Martin, the mother of Mason Martin, the Karns City Gremlins quarterback who suffered a brain injury during a varsity game on Sept. 1.
Stacy Martin is fighting a challenging case of breast cancer while trying to support and encourage her son in his battle against a brain injury, said Dawn Mock, Knoch Volleyball Boosters president.
The shirts read, “Together we fight.”
The boosters also are donating the proceeds from each game’s 50/50 raffle as well as collecting cash donations for Martin during the games in October, which is Breast Cancer Month.
Those who would like to buy a T-shirt but cannot attend the volleyball games can email Mock at farmmom03@gmail.com.
Those who wish to donate but cannot attend the games can send a check made out to Knoch Volleyball Boosters, to 243 Powell Road, Butler, PA, 16002.
