PITTSBURGH — Butler graduate and University of Pittsburgh center Jake Kradel has been named a preseason candidate for the Rimington Trophy, given annually to the top center in college football.
Kradel has played 43 games at Pitt, starting 38 of them. Initially a guard last season, he moved to center when injuries hit the offensive line.
He was a 2022 All-ACC selection at guard and received honorable mention at center.
