Sentence Court

The following defendants were sentenced Wednesday, May 24, by Butler County Common Pleas Judge Timothy McCune.

Colt D. Walker, 27, of Fenelton, was sentenced to serve 15 days in prison, six months of probation, 60 days of house arrest, pay a $1,000 fine, perform 40 hours of community service and complete litter pickup after pleading guilty to a charge of driving under the influence filed by state police for a Feb. 24, 2021, incident.

Paul W. Roth Jr., 61, of New Castle, was sentenced to serve 36 months of probation and pay restitution after pleading guilty to three charges of retail theft filed by Butler Township police for incidents on Dec. 10 and 13, 2022.

John M. Sines, 39, of Saxonburg, was sentenced to no less than 11 months and no more than 23 months in prison, 36 months of probation, perform 100 hours of community service and pay restitution after pleading guilty to a charge of burglary filed by state police for a Sept. 13, 2021, incident.

Cody S. Herrington, 30, of Butler, was sentenced to serve 60 months of probation, pay a $1,500 fine, perform 40 hours of community service and complete litter pick up after pleading guilty to a charge of driving under the influence filed by Butler City police for an Aug. 7, 2022, incident.

Clint D. Sommers IV, 31, of West Sunbury, was sentenced to serve six months probation, 14 days of house arrest, pay a $1,000 fine, perform 50 hours of community service and complete litter pick up after pleading guilty to a charge of driving under the influence filed by state police for an Oct. 20, 2022, incident.

Bobby J. Stewart, 37, of Pittsburgh, was sentenced to pay a $100 fine after pleading guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct filed by Butler City police for a March 20, 2014, incident.

Shaun P. Doerr, 44, of Butler, was sentenced to serve 72 hours to 20 months in prison, 24 months of probation, pay $2,100 in fines, pay restitution, perform 40 hours of community service and complete litter pick up after pleading guilty to charges of driving under the influence, fleeing police, driving with a suspended license and conspiracy filed by Butler City and state police for incidents on May 28, 2021, and Sept. 7, 2022.

Katelyn M. Wiley, 32, of Butler, was sentenced to serve six months probation, 15 days of house arrest, pay a $1,000 fine and complete litter pick up after pleading guilty to charges of driving under the influence filed by state police for a July 16, 2021, incident.

Ryan J. Chuba, 40, of Butler, was sentenced to serve 60 months of probation, nine months of house arrest, pay $1,525 in fines, perform 25 hours of community service and complete litter pick up after pleading guilty to a charge of DUI filed by state police for an Oct. 1, 2022, incident.

Natoreus Bailey-Atwood, 22, of Farrell, was sentenced to a total of 22 months of probation, 14 days of house arrest, pay $1,300 in fines, perform 70 hours of community service and complete litter pick up after pleading guilty to charges of driving under the influence, driving with a suspended license, receiving stolen property and public drunkenness filed by Butler City and state police for incidents on Sept. 6, 2021, and Oct. 22, 2021.

Mark P. Goehring, 60, of Butler, was sentenced to two years probation after pleading guilty to charges of disorderly conduct filed by Butler City police for an Aug. 16, 2022, incident.

Ashley N. Kwasniewski, 32, of Allison Park, was sentenced to 60 days of probation, 30 days of house arrest, pay $300 in fines, perform 40 hours of community service and complete litter pick up after pleading guilty to charges of driving under the influence filed by Middlesex Township police for a July 29, 2022, incident.

Matthew J. Ordean, 40, New Brighton, was sentenced to serve 12 months probation, six of them on house arrest and pay $2,500 in fines after pleading guilty to charges of driving with a suspended license filed by Cranberry Township police for a Jan. 13, 2022, incident.

Matthew J. Alexander, 40, of Chicora, was sentenced to serve a total 36 months of probation and pay a $100 fine after pleading guilty to charges of simple assault and disorderly conduct filed by state police for incidents on July 28, 2022, and Aug. 20, 2022.

Robert J. Lane, 47, of Pittsburgh, was sentenced to serve 60 months of probation, 180 days of house arrest, pay a $1,500 fine, perform 40 hours of community service and complete litter pick up after pleading guilty to a charge of driving under the influence filed by state police for an April 8, 2021, incident.

Ralph A. Toy Jr., 53, of Union City, was sentenced to serve 72 hours to six months of house arrest, pay a $1,000 fine, perform 40 hours of community service and complete litter pick up after pleading guilty to charges of driving under the influence filed by state police for a Dec. 18, 2017, incident.

James A. Jasper, 32, of Erie, was sentenced to serve 105 days of house arrest, 60 months of probation, pay a $1,500 fine, perform 40 hours of community service and complete litter pick up after pleading guilty to charges of driving under the influence and drug sales filed by Butler City police for a May 10, 2021, incident.

Donald Piper, 56, of Butler, was sentenced to serve 6 to 12 months in prison after pleading guilty to charges of disorderly conduct filed by Butler City police for a May 21, 2022, incident.
