Albert Hogg

Albert Hogg, of Slippery Rock, celebrated his 100th birthday on June 10, with a family gathering at a family farm.

Hogg was born on June 10, 1925, in Slippery Rock.

He married Twila Sankey on Jan. 12, 1949, at a Minister’s house in Harrisville. She is deceased.

Hogg has five children, Erla Thomas, Maryville, Tenn.; Leroy Hogg, of Slippery Rock; Sallie Riddle, of Grove City; Gary Hogg, of Slippery Rock; and Diane Green, of Slippery Rock.

He also has 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

He is a retired dairy farmer.

He is a member of Highland Presbyterian Church in Slippery Rock, has been a member of various farm organizations and previously served as a Slippery Rock Township supervisor.
